Sanguine Asia Pacific Renewable Energy Fund

A US$2 billion equity fund focused on investment in mid stage renewable energy projects in emerging markets and developing economies in the Asia Pacific region.

We utilised targeted investment in mid to late-stage renewable energy projects as the catalyst to create community benefits, enhanced social infrastructure and local jobs while addressing carbon emission and climate change.

We are in the process of securing exclusive rights to ~8GW of greenfield projects in the Asia Pacific.

We measure our performance against the social and environmental standards framework of the World Bank which incorporates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We apply our experience to de-risking projects at each key milestone towards financial close allowing us to target strong IRRs commensurate with the return expected from mid to late stage developments.

We work closely with the world’s leading institutions, sovereign wealth funds, development banks, pension funds and other financial institutions. We also work closely with the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) of the World Bank to insure on selected projects against a range of risks. Sanguine’s team is highly skilled and experienced across infrastructure, finance, banking, fund management, mergers and acquisitions and operating power projects.

We create a diversified portfolio of low carbon fuels, renewable energy and battery storage development assets through direct equity and equity related investments.
We are currently acquiring our initial 500MW portfolio of high-quality mid stage development projects.
